Adamson beats Ateneo, eyes UE for Final Four

Adamson secured a crucial 69-55 win over Ateneo on Saturday, November 23, keeping their hopes alive for a spot in the UAAP men's basketball tournament's Final Four.

Coach Nash Racela urged his players to give everything they had against Ateneo, and Adamson responded with a strong performance led by Royce Mantua and Matt Erolon, who scored 14 points and 11 points respectively.

Manu Anabo stepped up in the absence of Jhon Calisay, contributing 13 points and clutch three-pointers down the stretch as they prepare for their crucial game against UE on Wednesday, November 27.

With both teams holding identical 6-8 records at the end of the elimination round, Adamson faces UE Red Warriors in a playoff match to determine the last Final Four slot.

Racela emphasized that past performances won't matter as they gear up for an entirely different game on Wednesday.
