San Miguel beats Phoenix 139-127; Jordan Adams scores 49 points

San Miguel defeated Phoenix 139-127 on Friday night, extending its winning streak to three games in the 2024 PBA Governors' Cup.

Jordan Adams returned from a brief stint with Sheldon Mac and scored a game-high 49 points along with 11 rebounds, leading San Miguel to victory at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Adams emphasized his readiness for any opportunity, noting that he stayed prepared despite being replaced by Mac earlier in the season.

CJ Perez and June Mar Fajardo also contributed significantly with at least 22 points each, while Marcio Lassiter added 16 points including five three-pointers.

San Miguel improved its record to 5-2, trailing only Rain or Shine in Group B standings as they prepare for an upcoming match against Barangay Ginebra this Sunday.

Coach Jorge Gallent praised Adams for his professionalism and performance, highlighting the team's decision to bring him back after a short experiment with Mac.
