Abueva, Romeo return to Gilas for Asian Games prep

Calvin Abueva and Terrence Romeo returned to Gilas Pilipinas for the first practice session on Monday, September 11, ahead of the upcoming Asian Games.

Abueva and Romeo had not played for the national team since their suspension following a brawl with Australia in 2018.

Joining them were holdovers from the FIBA World Cup squad including June Mar Fajardo, Scottie Thompson, Japeth Aguilar, and Roger Pogoy, along with naturalized players Justin Brownlee and Ange Kouame.
