84 stranded Negrenses airlifted home from Luzon

On March 19, 84 stranded individuals from Luzon were airlifted back to Negros Occidental.

The group traveled on a special Cebu Pacific flight initiated by the provincial government after Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson appealed to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines.

Upon arrival, they were considered persons under monitoring (PUM) and required to undergo a 14-day mandatory quarantine at Mambukal Summer Resort in Murcia town.

One PUM, Felix Alejo, was arrested for attempting to evade quarantine after being found at his residence in Bacolod City.
