PNP logs 25 new COVID-19 cases; total reaches 2,757

As of Thursday, Aug 13, the Philippine National Police's (PNP) COVID-19 cases reached 2,757 with 25 new infections.

Total recoveries increased to 1,826 after 26 more personnel recovered from the disease; however, one additional death was reported, bringing the total fatalities to 13.

The PNP is currently monitoring 762 probable and 2,211 suspected cases of COVID-19.

PNP Chief Gen. Archie Gamboa has emphasized the importance of health protocols for front-liners in areas with high case numbers such as NCR, Calabarzon, Central Luzon, and Central Visayas.
