Families in Taal evacuation hubs down to 5.9K

As of Wednesday, February 5, 2020, the number of families in evacuation centers due to Taal Volcano's eruption has dropped to 5,953 families or 20,297 individuals.

This figure is a significant decrease from Tuesday when there were 6,830 families and Monday with over 7,000 families.

The affected population totals 129,171 families or 483,389 people across Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, and Quezon provinces.

As of Wednesday morning, a total of 2,070 volcanic earthquakes were recorded since the eruption on January 12.
