DSWD-6 nears full SAP payout in W. Visayas

The Department of Social Welfare and Development in Western Visayas (DSWD-6) is nearing 100 percent completion of SAP payouts to beneficiaries.

As of Thursday, May 14, DSWD-6 has reached 89.51% of the target payout, equivalent to PHP6.1 billion distributed to 1,032,772 families.

Seventy-nine out of 133 local government units (LGUs) have achieved a 100 percent SAP payout accomplishment, with 28 LGUs submitting complete liquidation documents.

On May 12, DSWD-6 reported that 65 out of 133 LGUs completed the SAP distribution by the extended May 10 deadline, achieving an 83.25% target payout rate.
