DOH grants P20-M aid to Rolly-hit Bicol hospitals

The DOH granted P20 million worth of financial assistance to hospitals and affected areas in Bicol hit by Super Typhoon Rolly.

Three DOH hospitals received aid: the Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital (P5M), Bicol Medical Center (P5M), and Bicol Region General Hospital and Geriatric Medical Center (P2M).

Provinces like Camarines Sur, Albay, and Catanduanes each got P2M, P1.5M, and P1.5M respectively; while cities such as Naga received P1.2M.

Additionally, six health facilities in Bicol were partially damaged but remain functional, with an estimated total damage cost of PHP116 million.
