Go hopes Duterte's SONA focuses on COVID measures

Senator Christopher 'Bong' Go hopes President Rodrigo Duterte's fifth State of the Nation Address will focus on measures to address the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on Filipinos.

Go emphasized the need for the government to enhance the healthcare system, including testing, tracing, treating capabilities, public hospital capacities, quarantine facilities, health workforce strengthening, medical frontliners' welfare, and a national vaccine program.

The senator is optimistic that Duterte's SONA will bring hope for a better future amid the pandemic and provide concrete plans for socio-economic recovery.
