QC: 56 areas placed under granular COVID-19 lockdown

Quezon City residents are concerned about the increasing number of areas placed under granular lockdown due to rising COVID-19 cases.

As of Wednesday, 56 areas in Quezon City are now under special concern lockdown with one more area added, affecting a total of 2,210 families or 5,583 individuals.

The local government has assured residents that they will receive food packs and essential kits during the lockdown period.

Some areas have been under lockdown since early August, and those in special concern areas will undergo swab testing and mandatory quarantine.
