Health Monitoring for Coronavirus Disease-2019 (Covid-19) in Different Regions of Philippines

Zamboanga Peninsula: As of Feb 15, 2020, there are 13 persons under monitoring (PUM) for the coronavirus disease-2019 (Covid-19), with most having a history of travel to China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. No patients under investigation have been identified in Region 9.

North Cotabato: As of Feb 14, 2020, two female OFWs returning from the UK and Bahrain are being monitored for possible infection after their planes had stopovers in Singapore and Hong Kong respectively. They are both classified as PUMs and have not shown any symptoms of the disease.

Soccsksargen: As of Feb 14, 2020, 18 persons under monitoring (PUM) for Covid-19 have been cleared by DOH after completing a mandatory quarantine. There are currently 37 PUMs in Soccsksargen and no confirmed cases or patients under investigation.

SoCot: As of Feb 12, 2020, five residents who recently traveled to China, Hong Kong, and Malaysia are being monitored as PUMs by health authorities. They are undergoing self-quarantine at home and have not shown any signs or symptoms related to the disease.
