PH: 498 under investigation for coronavirus

As of February 16, the Department of Health (DOH) reported 498 persons under investigation for possible cases of the novel coronavirus in the Philippines.

Out of these, 159 were admitted to hospitals, 336 were discharged after testing negative, and there are still 3 confirmed cases with one death and two recoveries.

The breakdown per region showed Metro Manila had the highest number of suspected cases at 168, followed by Central Luzon with 57.

DOH continues to monitor these individuals for any signs of infection.
