41K passengers hit by Cebu Pac flights cancellations due to Odette

Cebu Pacific reported that 41,000 passengers were affected by flight cancellations due to Super Typhoon Odette.

As of Wednesday, December 22, 369 flights have been disrupted until the end of December.

Mactan Cebu International Airport limits operations and airports in Surigao and Siargao will remain closed to commercial flights until February next year due to extensive damage.

International arrivals at Mactan Cebu International Airport are subject to a daily passenger cap starting December 23 due to hotel room shortages for quarantine requirements.

Cebu Pacific spokesperson Carmina Romero stated that flight resumption in Cebu and Siargao depends on wind conditions, with only relief distribution teams accommodated initially.
