China donates 100K test kits to PH

China will donate 100,000 coronavirus test kits and other medical supplies to aid the Philippines in fighting the pandemic.

The donation includes 100,000 surgical masks, 10,000 N95 masks, and 10,000 sets of personal protective equipment.

Chinese officials are coordinating with the Department of Health for immediate delivery of these supplies.

A chartered flight will transport the items to Manila, though the exact arrival date is unclear.

The first batch of 2,000 test kits has already arrived in Manila on March 16.
