DOH reports 2 new COVID-19 cases in Western Visayas

The Department of Health (DOH) Region 6 reported two new confirmed COVID-19 patients on Tuesday, March 24, bringing the total number of cases in Western Visayas to four.

The new cases include a 61-year-old female from Iloilo City and a 45-year-old male from Jamindan, Capiz. Both had recent travel histories to Metro Manila.

The Iloilo patient exhibited symptoms such as fever, cough, body malaise, and diarrhea, while the Capiz patient was classified as a person under investigation (PUI) due to persistent cough and fever.

Both patients are currently hospitalized in stable condition.
