Vista Malls reopen with safety protocols

Integrated developer Vista Land & Lifescapes announced that all of its 22 Vista Malls are now open with shortened hours and limited services following new Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) community quarantine guidelines.

New safety and security protocols have been implemented, including mandatory temperature checks (denying entry to those with 37.5°C or higher), valid ID checks (restricting entry to ages 21-59), and hand and foot sanitation prior to entry.

Inside the malls, face masks are required at all times, and strict physical distancing of at least 2 meters must be observed.

Additional sanitation measures include regular disinfection of common areas, UV sterilization of escalator handrails, disinfection of elevator buttons and ATM machines every 30 minutes, and hourly sanitation of comfort rooms.

Measures to ensure physical distancing include passenger capping at elevators and the "3-Step Rule" for escalators.

Non-essential facilities like cinemas and play areas remain closed, and restaurants are limited to take-out and delivery services.

Cashless payment methods are highly encouraged, and mall Wi-Fi has been temporarily disabled.

Air-conditioning is regulated to 26 degrees Celsius until further notice.
