SM Supermalls deploys more safety officers for new normal

SM Supermalls has deployed additional safety officers to ensure mall-goers practice social distancing and observe the "new normal" guidelines.

SM Supermalls senior vice president for operations Bien Mateo reiterated the call for safe distancing, emphasizing it's everyone's responsibility.

All SM Supermalls employees must undergo rapid testing before being allowed to report to work, with only half of the total workforce required on-site.

Employees not reporting to work are still guaranteed to receive their full salaries.

High-touch points and comfort rooms are sanitized every 30 minutes, and high-traffic areas are strictly monitored.

Mall goers must undergo temperature checks and step on disinfecting foot mats upon entering.

The mall enforces a 'no face mask, no entry' policy.
