Typhoon Ulysses causes power outages in Luzon areas

Typhoon Ulysses has caused power outages in various areas of Luzon, including Marikina City, Batangas, Las Piñas, Montalban City, Quezon City, Quezon province, and Pasig City.

In Pasig City, portions of Barangays Pinagbuhatan and Maybunga experienced power outage around 11 p.m. on Wednesday.

Three electric posts in Brgy. Palingon-Tipas, Taguig City, toppled due to strong winds brought by the typhoon.

Meralco has stated that linemen are on standby to restore power to brownout-affected areas.

Residents in Real, Infanta, and General Nakar in Quezon province reported a power outage as of 4 a.m. Thursday.

Power has been restored in some areas of Laguna.

At least four towns in Batangas are without power supply.

Several barangays in Las Piñas also reported power outages.

Montalban City and the EDSA-Timog Area in Quezon City have also reported brownouts.
