LRT, MRT, PNR resume ops after Typhoon Ulysses checks

Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) suspended operations of LRT-1, LRT-2, MRT-3, and PNR on Thursday, November 12, 2020, due to Typhoon Ulysses.

The suspension was a safety measure and continued until system checks were completed and cleared.

Typhoon Ulysses made its third landfall in the vicinity of General Nakar, Quezon at 1:40 a.m., with Metro Manila under Signal No. 3.

Normal train operations of these railways resumed on Friday, November 13, after passing full system checks.

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) confirmed that the operational systems, including tracks, power, signaling, and rolling stocks, were found to be functional and in good condition.
