Southwest monsoon to bring scattered rains across PH

The southwest monsoon is expected to bring scattered rains and thunderstorms across various parts of the Philippines on Tuesday, July 08, 2025.

Metro Manila, the Ilocos Region, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Occidental Mindoro, Batanes, and Babuyan Islands will experience a high chance of cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

The rest of Luzon, including the Bicol Region, the rest of Mimaropa, and the Cagayan Valley Region, will have isolated rain showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon to evening.

Parts of Palawan are also likely to experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers.

In the Visayas, Western Visayas, particularly Antique and Aklan, can expect cloudy skies with rain showers.

The rest of the Visayas may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon and evening.
