Shear line, LPA trough to bring rains across PH

Cloudy skies with isolated rains are expected across the Philippines on Wednesday due to the shear line, the trough of a low pressure area, and the easterlies.

The Bicol Region, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan, and Northern Samar will experience scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shear line.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will persist throughout the rest of the country due to the easterlies.

The Northeast Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with light rains to the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Aurora, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains to Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

PAGASA warned that these weather conditions may trigger flash floods and landslides.

Winds will be moderate to strong, and coastal waters moderate to rough in Luzon, while Visayas and Mindanao will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
