Shear line brings scattered rains to parts of Luzon and Visayas

The Shear Line is affecting the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas, bringing cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms to the Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Laguna, Quezon, Marinduque, and Romblon.

Flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

The Northeast Monsoon continues to affect Northern and Central Luzon, with Cagayan Valley and Aurora experiencing cloudy skies with light rains.

Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Central Luzon and CALABARZON can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong northeasterly winds are expected in Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and Visayas, with corresponding moderate to rough coastal waters.
