Shear line to bring scattered rains over Palawan, Visayas

Scattered rains are expected over Palawan and Visayas on Sunday due to a prevailing shear line, according to PAGASA's weather forecast.

These areas, along with Caraga, Davao Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, Sarangani, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi, may experience moderate to heavy rains, increasing the risk of flash floods or landslides.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon will also have cloudy skies with rains from the Northeast Monsoon, with advisories issued for potential flash floods or landslides.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains from the Amihan, with no significant impact anticipated.

The rest of Mindanao can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to easterlies, with warnings about severe thunderstorms possibly causing flash floods or landslides.
