Amihan and shear line bring rains to Luzon

The amihan (Northeast Monsoon) and shear line are bringing rains to parts of Luzon.

The shear line is causing cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Isabela, Quirino, Aurora, Nueva Ecija, and Bulacan.

The rest of Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region will experience cloudy skies with rains due to the amihan.

These moderate to at times heavy rains may trigger flash floods or landslides.

The amihan will also cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon, with no significant impact expected.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.

Northern and Central Luzon may experience moderate to strong wind conditions and moderate to rough coastal water conditions.
