Severe tropical storm Leon to bring stormy weather nationwide for Undas

Severe Tropical Storm Leon (international name Kong-rey) is expected to bring stormy weather across the Philippines during the observance of All Saints' and All Souls' Days.

PAGASA Weather Division officer-in-charge Christopher Perez stated that Leon and its trough will be the dominant weather systems affecting the archipelago.

Stormy weather is anticipated over Cagayan Valley and Apayao on Wednesday and Thursday.

Rains with gusty winds will affect Ilocos Region, the rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, Quezon, and portions of Bicol and Samar.

Cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rains are expected over Antique, Occidental Mindoro, and Cavite.

Metro Manila and other regions will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms, primarily in the afternoon or evening.
