Sen Gatchalian presents documents linking Bamban Mayor Alice Guo to Chinese passport holder

Senator Sherwin Gatchalian presented documents suggesting suspended Bamban Mayor Alice Guo's true identity may be Guo Hua Ping, a Chinese passport holder.

These documents indicate Guo Hua Ping entered the Philippines on January 12, 2003, with a birth date of August 31, 1990, listing Lin Wen Yi as her mother, contradicting Mayor Guo's previous statements.

Securities and Exchange Commission documents show Lin Wen Yi as an incorporator in some of Mayor Guo's businesses, alongside her siblings and father.

Guo's legal counsel Atty. Stephen David denies these allegations, stating her real mother is Amelia Leal and her name is Alice Leal Guo as per her birth certificate.

Senator Loren Legarda expressed 100 percent conviction that Mayor Guo is not who she claims to be, calling her "not a simple person who grew up in a farm."

Legarda urged the government to be vigilant against similar personalities infiltrating the country's local politics, referring to a "creeping invasion."
