Rep Leviste questions DPWH Sec Dizon's team for links to contractors

Batangas 1st District Rep. Leandro Leviste claimed that members of the DPWH team led by Secretary Vince Dizon are government contractors or linked to them.

Leviste questioned if new appointees in the DPWH have interests in companies that do business with the department, which could lead to a conflict of interest in contract awards.

He urged Secretary Dizon to disclose all connections his team may have with DPWH contractors.

In response, Dizon urged Leviste to reveal the names of people from his team who are supposedly meeting with contractors for kickbacks.

Dizon vowed to investigate and remove any DPWH officials found colluding with contractors, stating he would act swiftly if evidence is presented.

Dizon has ordered an internal probe and promised to immediately remove or file charges against any DPWH officials proven to have contractor links.
