PrimeWater to fix Bulacan pump stations before school opening

PrimeWater Infrastructure Corp. has committed to repair pump stations in Bulacan to ensure adequate water supply for affected schools before the upcoming school opening.

The commitment was made after President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. directed the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) to investigate the lack of stable water supply in public schools he inspected in Malolos and San Miguel towns in Bulacan.

PrimeWater and the City of Malolos Water District (CMWD) have convened a meeting to address the water service failure in the province.

PrimeWater promised to repair the pump station by June 13, 2025, and coordinate with the drainage contractor for pipeline restoration.

The rehabilitation of the Barihan pumping station is underway after experiencing a sudden decrease in water production.
