Marcos Jr. orders rehab of school restrooms, classrooms

During an inspection of elementary schools in San Miguel, Bulacan, Marcos noted that many classrooms were long overdue for replacement.

He specifically highlighted the poor condition of school bathrooms and the lack of water supply as critical issues.

Marcos ordered officials to investigate why some schools lack water despite paying utility bills, stressing that water is a basic necessity for health and safety.

The President asserted that unclean restrooms could lead to students falling ill, underscoring the importance of focusing on these basic amenities.
