The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) has announced that its vaccination program will continue without interruption during the upcoming enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) from August 6 to 20.
As of July 31, the PRC has successfully administered vaccines to 67,058 individuals through its nationwide Bakuna Centers and mobile Bakuna Buses.
The agency has also vaccinated OFWs under the Government Moderna Program Initiative and its own PRC Moderna Program.
PRC chair Senator Richard Gordon affirmed that the 15-day lockdown will not stop their vaccination efforts, provided they receive vaccine supplies from the government.
The PRC actively supports the National COVID-19 Vaccine Deployment Plan by operating 13 vaccination centers, planning to open 17 more, deploying vaccination teams to LGU-operated centers, and utilizing its mobile vaccine clinics.
