PNP extends help to almost 5K cops affected by typhoons
The Philippine National Police (PNP) is providing assistance to 4,781 police officers whose homes were damaged by recent typhoons.
PNP chief Gen. Rommel Marbil ordered an all-out assistance to affected personnel, including the repair of damaged houses by police engineering teams.
The PNP Engineering Response Team has been tasked with urgent repairs and restorations of 774 damaged houses, prioritizing the Ilocos, Cagayan, Central, Calabarzon, Bicol, Cordillera regions in Luzon, and Eastern Visayas.
