Police units on high alert for 'Pepito'
All police units have been placed on high alert to assist in disaster response operations as Super Typhoon Pepito makes landfall.
PNP Chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil directed police personnel to coordinate with Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices (LDRRMOs) in affected regions.
Approximately 4,894 police personnel have been deployed across affected areas, with an additional 8,065 Reserve Support and Security Forces (RSSF) personnel on standby.
