PNP asks for patience amid expected long lines at NCR borders
The Philippine National Police (PNP) has appealed for patience among motorists as long queues are expected at quarantine control points with the National Capital Region (NCR) returning to enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) starting August 6 to curb the spread of the Delta variant.
PNP chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar advised motorists to prepare necessary documents and IDs for presentation at checkpoints.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) had previously ordered stricter border controls in the NCR Plus bubble starting midnight of August 1.
