Despite the record-high deaths, active COVID-19 cases have decreased to 47,690, the lowest since July 20.
Of the active cases, 74.4 percent are mild, 5.1 percent are asymptomatic, 2.7 percent are critical, 6.5 percent are severe, and 11.27 percent are moderate.
DOH Secretary Francisco Duque III reminded the public to continue following minimum public health standards.
