The Philippines recorded 276 new COVID-19 recoveries, bringing the total number of survivors to 499,971, representing 92.3% of all confirmed cases.

The Department of Health (DOH) reported 1,345 new confirmed cases and 114 new deaths, bringing the total death toll to 11,401.

The overall tally of active cases is now 30,188.

About 88.2% of the active cases are mild, 6.1% are asymptomatic, 2.5% are severe, 0.60% are moderate, and 2.6% are in critical condition.

Twelve duplicates were removed from the total case count, including 10 recovered cases, and 190 cases previously tagged as recovered were reclassified as deaths after final validation.

On Feb. 9, 1,545 or 5.6% of 27,462 tested individuals turned out positive for COVID-19.

There is a 21,400-bed capacity dedicated to COVID-19 patients.
