Philippines logs 1,968 new COVID-19 cases, 43 deaths

The Philippines logged 1,968 new COVID-19 cases on November 22, 2020, bringing the total number of infections to 386,486.

The DOH reported that 92 percent of COVID-19 cases have recovered, with 10,957 new recoveries bringing the total to 386,486.

There were 43 new deaths, increasing the overall death toll to 8,123.

The active cases are at 24,209, with 82.5 percent being mild and 5.8 percent in critical condition.

Cavite recorded the highest number of new cases with 107, followed by Quezon City with 97, Davao City with 86, Laguna with 84, and Quezon with 77.

Fifty-six percent of intensive care unit beds are available, along with 61 percent of isolation beds and 70 percent of ward beds.
