PH COVID-19 cases exceed 413k with 1,337 new infections

The Philippines' COVID-19 tally rose to 413,430 with 1,337 new infections reported on Thursday, November 19, 2020.

This is the tenth consecutive day with less than 2,000 new cases, though 11 laboratories failed to submit data on time.

Davao City reported the highest number of new infections, followed by Laguna, Quezon City, Batangas, and Manila.

Total recoveries reached 374,939 with 286 new recoveries, and the death toll increased to 7,998 with 41 new fatalities.

Of the 30,493 active cases, 84.5% are mild, 8% asymptomatic, 2.5% severe, and 4.7% critical.

The country's intensive care unit beds have 58% availability, and 79% of mechanical ventilators are ready for use.
