PH COVID-19 cases surpass 1 million

The Philippines' cumulative COVID-19 cases reached 1,013,618 with 7,204 new infections logged.

Total recoveries climbed to 925,027 with 10,109 new recoveries reported, now accounting for 91.3 percent of total cases.

The death toll increased to 16,916 with 63 new fatalities.

Active cases are at 71,675, of which 95.2 percent are mild, 1.5 percent are asymptomatic, 1.3 percent are severe, 0.90 percent are moderate, and 1.1 percent are in critical condition.

On April 25, 15.8 percent of 39,941 individuals tested positive for COVID-19.

Nationwide, 63 percent of ICU beds, 47 percent of isolation beds, 53 percent of ward beds, and 46 percent of ventilators are occupied.
