Partylist Coalition donates P5M in PPE to frontliners

The Partylist Coalition Foundation Inc., a bloc of 54 party-list representatives in the House of Representatives, is donating P5 million worth of personal protective equipment (PPE) to hospitals and frontliners in the National Capital Region (NCR) and other affected provinces.

Representative Angelica Natasha Co of the BHW party-list is overseeing the distribution of the donated items, which includes 150,000 masks, 1,300 goggles, and 40,000 gloves.

The distribution has commenced and will continue until supplies and funds are depleted, with any remaining funds earmarked for the purchase of testing kits when they become available.

Over 20 hospitals in Metro Manila and surrounding provinces, such as the Philippine General Hospital, San Lazaro Hospital, and the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine, will receive the PPE.

The Philippine National Police and the Armed Forces of the Philippines will also be recipients of the protective gear.
