PAL announces new flight protocols

Philippine Airlines (PAL) has announced new flight protocols to be implemented once travel restrictions are lifted.

Passengers are required to undergo thermal scans before entering ticket offices and wear face masks, adhering to a "no mask, no entry" policy.

Social distancing will be enforced in ticketing areas and at check-in counters, with transparent barriers at counters and monitored compliance.

Passengers must check in online and arrive early, with PAL setting specific times: 4 hours before international departures and 3 hours before domestic departures.

Carry-on luggage will be limited to 2 kilograms per passenger, though free baggage allowance has been increased by 5 kilograms.

Passengers can bring up to ten 100ml bottles of hand sanitizers containing up to 70 percent alcohol onboard.

All PAL airport staff and crew members will be equipped with protective gear, and cabins will undergo regular cleaning and disinfection with HEPA filters.

Upon arrival, passengers must wear face masks, step on sanitizing floor mats, maintain social distancing, and fill out travel and health history forms.
