DigiPlus, PhilFirst launch Philippines' first surety bond for online gamers

DigiPlus Interactive Corp. has partnered with Philippine First Insurance Co. Inc. (PhilFirst) to launch the Philippines' first-ever surety bond program for online gaming players.

The program, launched on September 17, provides financial protection for eligible players' balances up to P1 million per player, offering enhanced player safety.

This surety bond is automatically applied to eKYC-verified users who have made at least one successful deposit and continue to follow platform guidelines.

DigiPlus Chairman Eusebio Tanco stated that the company is committed to putting players first and ensuring their funds are safeguarded.

This initiative expands DigiPlus' existing consumer safeguards, which include round-the-clock support and physical BingoPlus stores nationwide.
