DigiPlus launches PH's first surety bond for online gaming players

DigiPlus Interactive Corp. has partnered with Philippine First Insurance Co. Inc. (PhilFirst) to introduce the Philippines' first surety bond program specifically for online gaming players.

This new program, effective immediately, provides protection for a player's wallet or balance up to P1 million per individual without the need for a separate policy purchase.

The surety bond aims to offer enhanced peace of mind to players, provided their electronic Know-Your-Customer (e-KYC) information is current and they adhere to the platform's guidelines.

Eligibility for the program requires players to be e-KYC-verified, have completed at least one successful deposit, and maintain good standing on the platform.

The protection is automatic and instantly applies to all eligible players across DigiPlus's platforms: BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone.

DigiPlus chairman Eusebio Tanco expressed pride in being the first in the industry to implement this significant consumer protection measure.
