PAGASA: Cloudy skies, rain expected in several PH areas due to easterlies

PAGASA continues to monitor Tropical Storm Tapah, formerly Lannie, which is located outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

At 2 p.m., Tapah was observed 715 kilometers west of Laoag City, moving northwestward at 15 km/h, with maximum sustained winds of 85 km/h and gustiness of up to 105 km/h.

The western section of Northern Luzon will experience moderate wind and coastal water conditions, while the rest of the country will have slight to moderate conditions.
