Easterlies bring scattered rains to Southern Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao

Generally fair weather is expected in Luzon on Monday, with fair weather also forecast in Palawan and the rest of the Visayas.

Easterlies are affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, bringing overcast skies and scattered rain to these areas.

The Bicol region, Quezon, Eastern Visayas, and Caraga region will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.

Isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are expected in Metro Manila, Mimaropa, the rest of Calabarzon, and the rest of Visayas and Mindanao.

The rest of Luzon, unaffected by the easterlies, may still experience isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Pagasa has issued a moderate flood advisory for Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Caraga, and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
