OVP sends relief goods to typhoon victims in Pangasinan and QC

The Office of the Vice President (OVP) continues to send relief goods to families affected by Typhoon Crising and the southwest monsoon.

In Pangasinan, 1,200 families in Balungao have received relief boxes containing food packs, hygiene kits, blankets, sleeping mats, mosquito nets, slippers, expandable water jugs, and other essential supplies.

An additional 2,443 relief and food boxes are scheduled for distribution in Umingan on July 25, bringing the total to approximately 3,446 families assisted in the province.

The OVP has also delivered aid to over 500 families in three evacuation centers in Quezon City, specifically in Barangays Balingasa, Manresa, and Apolonio Samson.

Since the start of the week, the OVP's disaster operations center (DOC) has distributed around 6,000 relief boxes in Western Visayas, Northern Luzon, and the National Capital Region.

Additionally, the OVP Kalusugan Food Truck provided hot meals and water to evacuees and responders in Quezon City and Manila amid the persistent rains.
