OVP distributes typhoon, habagat relief packs nationwide

The Office of the Vice President (OVP) has started distributing relief items to families affected by Typhoon Crising and the southwest monsoon (habagat).

The OVP has allocated assistance for approximately 5,900 families nationwide.

So far, around 2,900 relief boxes have been distributed to residents in Western Visayas and Northern Luzon.

An additional 3,000 boxes are scheduled for delivery in Pangasinan starting July 23.

Each relief box now contains food packs, hygiene kits, blankets, sleeping mats, mosquito nets, slippers, and expandable water jugs.

The OVP-DOC will also provide relief boxes to families in Metro Manila that were hardly hit by severe flooding.
