On Christmas Eve, the PCG had recorded over 132,000 passengers traveling through various ports nationwide.

To manage the seasonal surge, all PCG districts, stations, and sub-stations remain on heightened alert from December 20, 2025, to January 4, 2026.

The PCG also advised the public to strictly follow maritime safety regulations.
