PITX braces for over 3 million passengers during holiday break

The Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) expects over three million passengers during the holiday break from December 19, 2025, to January 5, 2026.

On Friday, December 19, PITX recorded 186,231 passengers, and as of Saturday morning, December 20, over 53,000 passengers had used the terminal.

Most trips from PITX are bound for Bicol and the Visayas, and bus companies have added extra trips to meet demand.

Other bus terminals in Metro Manila, like those in Cubao, are reporting fully booked trips, especially for air-conditioned buses to the Bicol Region until December 31.

Passengers are observed bringing gifts and raffle prizes, with some sharing their holiday winnings with relatives.

PITX management has activated its Holiday Transport Plan with enhanced security and expanded customer assistance to ensure safe and reliable trips during the peak season.
