New Kinpo Group to produce ventilators, face masks in PH
Taiwanese conglomerate New Kinpo Group (NKG) will repurpose its Batangas and Laguna facilities to produce medical-grade face masks and ventilators specifically for the Philippine market.
The company plans to manufacture 1,000 ventilators and 2.5 million face masks monthly, with the first batch of ventilators expected by the end of May.

NKG CEO Simon Shen conveyed this commitment to Philippine Trade officials during a video conference.
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Board of Investments (BoI) will assist in ensuring the delivery of necessary raw materials for production.
This initiative aims to address the critical shortage of these medical supplies, exacerbated by global supply chain disruptions due to COVID-19.
