Negros Oriental allied health worker recovers from Covid-19

An allied health worker in Negros Oriental who previously tested positive for Covid-19 has now tested negative following a second throat swab test.

The health worker, who works at a government health care facility, initially tested positive on June 15.

He had been exposed to another Covid-19 positive individual and underwent his first throat swab on June 3, remaining asymptomatic.

His close contacts are currently isolated while awaiting their test results.

Negros Oriental has recorded a total of 21 Covid-19 cases, with two active cases, 17 recoveries, and two deaths.
